Introducing Demetria
Hello fellow Steemians. I am a newbie to this type of community and am looking forward to learning more about the possibilities of crypto, blockchain technology, innovative ideas and outside of the box thinking! I’m a fun, happy go lucky and passionate person, love learning and helping other and always put family first. 
I am a music lover, first and foremost. I am a former DJ (Disc Jockey) for a local college radio station playing alternative music focused on Trip-Hop, Acid Jazz and Chill Out with a healthy dose of Neo-Soul and smooth R&B. Along with playing great music I also love to dance to said music as I firmly believe that both music and dance are the truest expressions of our soul. ![F9854EF4-4055-4509-A508-9C59B823CF38.png]

My next biggest passion is nurturing and protecting our mother earth and all the amazing things she gives us to make our lives viable and enjoyable each and every day. I am working on learning how to live with less impact on the planet and trying to do my best to be Zero Waste and use more sustainable living practices in my daily routines. Stay tuned for more on that as I develop my blog! 
I am a major foodie and coffee fanatic as well. I love to explore new foods, spices, gadgets and techniques for cooking and creating delicious and eye catching meals and sharing them with those I love. Let's face it - We all know that the way to anyone's heart is through the stomach. Lol!
Lastly, I love to volunteer in my local community as a mentor to secondary school students with a focus on reading and comprehension. I feel that giving back to others to help them learn and grow is one of the best ways to pay it forward for all that we have received from others as we came up in life.
I hope to share some things with you all that will be interesting and fun and hope that you will share your honest feedback as well. I also look forward to following other blogs in areas of interest as well.
