I love the bumbles
I recently planted a bunch of flowers in my backyard and they are finally starting to flower and the bees are finding their way to my backyard. It's pretty cool seeing these big fuzzy ones show up because I normally just get the little ones.
Bees are such cool insects. I love that I am able to really focus on my backyard this year so that we can get more pollinators in the area. I planted some seeds that should grow some flowers that are supposed to attract hummingbirds too. Now that would be sweet.
Catching bees midflight is something I have been really trying to do. I think I am going to need a new camera body that can keep up with how fast these guys move cause my camera just isn't cutting it when it comes to focus speed.

Wow! Those are descent shots which a few people can do taking photos of a bee while flying mid air is awesome. How did you do it taking it up so close I am amaze of your tecnique.

Love bumblebees too. Those look different from the ones we got where I live.

I miss those flowers too. Hopefully in the next few months I will start another grow. It is way too hot here right now.
Ya, these large bees are pretty cool looking. I never had any flowers that had attracted them before. Now my yard has so many of them.
