Grandview

I'm a sucker for curves in roads and rivers, and I was thrilled to discover this one: Grandview, a park and overlook near Beckley, West Virginia.

I visited West Virginia with my fiancee on our first road trip together in America and we were both properly impressed to see this expansive view of the river and to hear a train, whose lights you see in this long exposure, rolling slowly around the bend as twilight descended.
