Upcycling! Ikea Lätt hack

When you have a kid, you find that there are many things that you can buy. And when I say many, I really mean a lot!
Only bying gadgets could cost you a fortune. All the more reason to look for some cheaper alternatives which you can pimp.

In IKEA there is a lot of stuff which you can make trendy with just a minor intervention. Take for example the ikea lätt childtable with chairs. A simple design: a rectangular table with ditto chairs, white with wooden framework. Perfectly for using, but doesn’t look very special ofcourse.

By painting the white surface with blackboardpaint it doesn’t only look a lot better, it’s also more practical because your child can draw with some chalk directly on the table.
The framework was painted with mintgreen chalkpaint and to jolly up the whole thing the seat was painted in a pattern.
