"This is my entry for the #monomad challenge"
The Winter Story lasted for 20 days in my city. Every day there were several concerts, some by really good bands, various events for children, and an ice rink was set up in the very centre of the city. A small train drove children through the city for free, and food and drink stands were everywhere... Today the Winter Story ends, today is Orthodox Christmas. Yesterday there was a Christmas Eve procession, and the main street, also called "Shirok Sokak" (wide street), was too narrow for all the people and children. The column passed by me for about 20 minutes. The children had yellow stars made of paper and cardboard in their hands, and at the end of the road, at an improvised cave, thousands and thousands of them received a Christmas package from the city administration.
