If, to ascertain the true figure and condition of the earth, we adopt the zetetic process (which truly is the only one that is sufficiently reliable) we shall find that instead of it's being a globe, it is a plane without progressive motion, and unaccompanied by anything in the firmament analogous to itself; Or, in other words, that it is the only known material world.

No more should we live in a world of self perpetual deception consisting of unopposed indulgence without the true constitution of the physical world... Surely the day is not far distant when the very complications which their numerous theories have created, will startle them into wakefulness and convince them that for long ages past they have but been idly dreaming.
