Hotel 6 (poetry)

There was a whisper in the hallway, A tale of lost love and broken vows. The exciting, yet frightening feeling of adventure and conquest oozing out of these walls. The music was loud and the time was now, A bad combination of cheap liquor and loose women to get your groove on and turn you against your will.
It was 3am in this funky circus,
We had forgotten why we were here..all we could remember was the Booz on our breath and the size of our dancing shoes, the warm sight of worn-out lipsticks, short yellow dresses and the smell of expensive hair conditioner.
The night was young and bleak..bleak enough to get you out of your shell and showcase your urges and addictions to whoever was willing to hop on the bandwagon...Conversations with strangers in foreign tongues and catchy accents made you believe in the possibility of the Tower of Babel.......
