SURRENDERING

I wonder if the leaves
Are afraid of change
Holding tightly to the past
Praying green forever lasts

Watching friends fade
From jade to brown or gray
Orange and red shine brightly,
But eventually fade away

What's this about they wonder
Then the wind gently whispers
My friends I have your back always
Just blow in sweet surrender.

Don't fight or worry through this process
To transform is not a problem
Just let go, let me take over
Or there will be no apple blossom.
