An American Success Story: Karthika Audinet
Karthika Audinet believes design "is the perfect balance between being artistic and giving meaning to your art." She studied textile design at the National Institute of Design in India and the ENSCI, or the French National School for Advanced Studies in Design in Paris, before moving to Washington D.C.where she became the creative director for St. Coletta of Greater Washington, a non-profit that provides vocational education to individuals with intellectual disabilities. At St. Coletta, Karthika combines her love for the craft of textile production with her desire to give back to the community.
