Vikings returned to ancient Polotsk.
1155 years ago, the nephew of the Norman Rurik Rogvolod founded the Polotsk principality.500 years ago, F. Skaryna, born in Polotsk, published the first book in the Belarusian language in Prague. On the first Sunday of autumn the most ancient city of Belarus, Polotsk, celebrated 2 holidays at once. For two days, knight battles, drag race races, archery competitions were conducted.
Artisans sold their own products. Completion of the holiday was the opening of the monument to the cradle of the Belarusian state.
