Curation Rewards - Vote at what time?
hi guys,
i've read some guides about how to get curation rewards and got 2 questions about it:
some guides say, i should vote as soon as possible to be the first one. other guides say i should wait until 30 minutes and vote then.
can you tell me how it really works?
and how much steempower do i need to have until this is valuable?

During the first 30 min of post's lifetime curators share their rewards with the author. In the first 5 or so minutes almost all payout goes to the author, around 15th minute it's about 50:50, and close to the end of the period curators retain most of the payout. This rule was implemented halfway down the road, the guides suggesting to vote as soon as possible are simply older ones.
