We crowd around them
Around their lent campaign voyage
Ears all out, we listen to them
Blubbering out their promises

All of us geeks
Get over excited over nothing
Of what they promise
To offer if voted for

The early birds we become
When the D-day cometh forth
Filling their ballot boxes to the brim
Contribution to their success

When inaugurated
We become expunged from their thoughts
And only their interest they serve
Guess we're left out

Once their turn is over
They back again!
With their now, chubby bodies
To give us their fake manifesto
