Macro Photo: Cactus

As usual, every afternoon I regularly water the ornamental plants on the rooftop of our house. We don't have many plants, some stems of paper flowers, tulips, orchids, roses, cacti and some other plants, such as water guava, mango, fig and ornamental grapes.

Yesterday afternoon, while waiting full fill the bucket, I took a hand spray filled with water to spray some small plants that don't need a lot of water, such as cacti.

When the water from the spray hit the stems and spines of the cactus, I saw water molecules stick together. I imagine, if the molecules were photographed, they would produce beautiful macro photos.

I grabbed my phone to take some pictures of the cactus, as seen in this post.

Indeed, when viewed from the side of sharpness, this cactus photo is still far from perfect compared to photos taken with professional digital cameras. But the results are still amazing, especially the water particles attached to the cactus spines.
