If Crypto Dies Will Steemit?

Crypto isn't going to die but altcoins may one day be obsolete. As crypto gets stronger the altcoin fat will be trimmed while mined currencies like BTC and ETH take place in the real world. This outcome would make coins like SBD less desirable and an unnecessary step while using and spending your money. We all see how flooded the market is with gimmicky coins, some of which have solid teams of brilliant people. Projects anyone could get behind. Maybe we should be focusing on improving and supporting what is successful and already works. They say if it ain't broke don't fix it. Is it time for steemit to fully use a crypto like Ethereum so that our profits are better managed. Steemit is a great site and an amazing idea but I think we should leave the financial side of it to the crypto currency that handles legal tender the best.
