We visited Ludwig's Rose farm in Pretoria on the journey back from a road trip in August, it was kind of spur-of-the-moment but a great decision at the end of the day! The roses fields were not in bloom but we discovered "The Rose Kitchen" restaurant and the cutest little shop with all the rose related products you could think of.

Try their rose flavoured cookies... you will not regret it! They were irresistibly delicious.

There were some incredible rose plants for sale in their nursery.

The restaurant there also had the coolest looking kids playground area, which makes it the perfect family lunch spot for a Sunday afternoon

Its so lovely and peaceful walking around a plant nursery. While we were there we also spotted the sweetest engagement, what a perfect place to propose!
