Acute panceatitis

Severe upper abdominal pain associated with vomiting, neause, fever, anorexia
Epigestric tenderness.
Serum lipase more than 3x from normal level.

Cause: alcohol

Gallstones
hyperlipidemia
malnutrition
hereditary pancreatitis.
hypercalcemia.
Ulcers.
Injury to the pancreas after an accident or a procedure such as ERCP or EUS with fine needle aspirate.
hepatitis
Choledochocele.
Cystic fibrosis.

Investigation

1.CBC
2.Serum lipase
3.USG of upper abdomen

Rx
Nothing per oral - for relief pain
Infusion
Appropriate Antibiotics
Opioid analgesic for pain

Than if no pain
Give oral diet - water than liquid than normal diet.
Than improve patient condition discharge him/ her.

Stop to drink alcohol

keep good your pancreas
