Using Creativity to Send a Social Message: March For Our Lives
The recent school shooting in Parkland, Florida inspired me to use some artistic creativity to promote a social message. As a child of the 1960s when the youth of my generation were instrumental in social change, e.g., civil rights, Vietnam and more, I was inspired by the youth movement beginning to rise following the most recent school shooting.
The young people of Parkland, Florida have created a nationwide movement that will culminate in a march to Washington, D.C. and other cities on March 14, 2018. It is being called MARCH FOR OUR LIVES. I applaud and support their activism.
