People infected with Rot really do find themselves in a pickle when interacting with the Book of Seams, you can't look at it, but you also have to confront it. I'm guessing Rosie has practised shooting with her eyes closed given the number of years she has spent preparing to confront the Church of Flickering Ascension.
We also finally get a look at what's left of Harvey after he was consumed by the BOS, he's not doing great, haha.

I always though books were good for you, but it seems some can bite back.
Haha yes! The moral of this story is never read old books. I endeavour to write a book about why you shouldn't read haha
