Waxing poetic
I ponder things; it's a curse of sorts. Thinking's great, but emoting is better. Find that I can articulate the feels via written word more efficiently than spoken.
So I wrote a thank you to a special gent.

That's simply beautiful. And I also find it much easier to write my feelings than to say them out loud. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that many true writers feel the same way :)
