Now it is also possible to order more anonymously. The website works on HTTPS, the data is stored encrypted in a database and it is not mandatory anymore to give your username, just leave it away - earlier people were complaining about connecting their username to their address. No need to have fear now anymore + you can also enter the address of an anonymous postbox or company. I will send it that address! This morning I sent out the first 3 dozen letters from my first announcement!
A few days ago I decided to make a small set of stickers for myself and to use in upcoming blog postings. And I would like to give back to the community and share the stickers with you as well. Why and how?
I did the math. The postage for an international standard letter is only ~90cents from my place. So I can send letters with stickers all across the world for below 1€ of cost which is awesome. Since my mother is running a small shop for printed goods I can produce the stickers fairly economically. I earned a bit of money on Steemit which allows me to afford for sending the stickers. Except all of a sudden 1000 people are requesting them, but then one can always show support via votes or micro donations of Steem.
This community and the idea behind it seems great and I want to do my contribution towards it because I am not a programmer and could not deliver things that other people on here can deliver. I can do design and art and this is my way to give back to the community!

Thank you. This is the second version of the page. Before I shared upvotes against stickers. But I figured that people don't want to be pushed to upvote and this makes sense. Also I improved the security of the site even more and made it optional to connect the username to the address you are using.. :)

After they finish with everything that's going on I think they will reach out to the community more but now the only thing they're investing their time in is security and stability.
hey @summonerrk , we can print t-shirts at my mums shop but it would be a bit too expensive to send them for free also the shipping worldwide is very different. i could make tshirts like this but i'am not sure if people are interested in buying things on steemit

i guess yes and it makes sense. but stickers could solve a lot of problems. they would increase brand awareness and also help verify posts. maybe @ned or @dan will get back to me some day about it :) but it definitely makes sense to invest into security first after what i read about the past hacks

thank you, iam not a man though :s yes more designs will come but i had to do the changes to the site first because people were rightfully complaining about forcing the upvote and providing the username. it is good that i made this all optional now. maybe i can leave this site up in the long term and provide different stickers every month... we will see :)

haha... i wish i would work officially for steemit inc :)
that is what i changed from the last version all data is now saved encrypted until iam deleting it when the stickers are sent. also you dont need to give a username anymore in the form so people could just enter random addresses... say the headquarter of ethereum and make me sent stickers to them. please dont do that though, but it would be fun to sent it to some "competitors" though haha :)

Are the free stickers still available?
I'm a delivery driver in a tourist town on Vancouver Island so they would get seen by many people.
I'm going to go talk to my local design shop and see what some big decals for my back window and side panels would cost me, but until I can afford to get them made some bumper stickers would be great to start with, I could probably even convince my boss to let me stick one on the entrance to the restaurant.
