[Resolved] Dustsweeper Delayed Transfers
The situation should be back to normal. Rolled back a change that was introduced about two weeks ago. The issue wasn't visible immediately but was only triggered at times of severe transaction delays.
A short update to let you know that we are experiencing some issues with @dustsweeper's transfer notifications.
If you made a transfer recently you might have experienced longer delays than usual. All transfers have been processed correctly so there is no need to worry. While trying to fix the issue today, we unfortunately sent out duplicates of transfer notifications to about 10 users. If you were one of the users we apologise for the inconvenience.
The issue should be solved shortly. Until then, please expect some delays when it comes to the transfer notifications.
Dustsweeper's voting system is working as expected and was not impacted by this.

Nice to see when there is an issue and that it is not hidden until someone complains. I like how up front you have all been with the program, and with keeping us informed of even minor glitches.
You are welcome Wolfhart. Luckily not too many people were impacted. Should be more stable now, but will give it some time to monitor the situation.

At times like these, a Discord server would be great to be able to get the news out. Will try to put some priority on that to get it up and running.
that's good news. I think I am getting a little low and have to send in a steem to replenish it. just to be sure. steem or SBD is good to use?

Dust sweeper has been a lifeline for a lot of people. I average at least 2 or 3 uplifts a day from him. I think you do great at letting people know, the contest and the voting issues a good example. So thanks. One small problem a month is not a bad track record at all, especially for something still so new.

You can transfer either steem or sbd. If you transfer steem it will convert according to market rates. You will get a notification if you are running low.
And I just checked, you have about $1 left in your account, so no worries at all. :)

I saw the messages one had 2 dollars and something and another had 4? so the 2 dollar one is more accurate? As you said in the 3rd message you had a hiccup.
Hey, I have a suggestion. I oftentimes leave votes that I worry turn into dust but would rather it be undusted automatically. Think there's a way to set up such a mechanism? Or, I forget, is there a place to check balances on others that have dustsweeper? I couldn't find when thumbing through the posts.
Oh I just realized it's in your faq. Guess I'll wait! Now looking for where the balances are.

STOPWe increased the time window slightly from the initial values. Post and comments are now picked up if they are anywhere between 12-72 hours before payout. Some users had very few posts and they could easily miss the time window, especially as not all post/comments can be covered and a bunch of them are skipped.
