New steemer on the block!
Hey everybody!
what a facinating time to be alive! Where social media like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram will take up hours of your time every month you have nothing to gain except maybe feel a little bit better when you get some likes on your post. I was getting fed up with social media all together but since I have learned about Steem that has totally changed that! I feel lucky to be here and that I get to be part of something that is going to change things for good :)
About me:
I am a now 30 year old guy from Amsterdam The Netherlands where I also work as a professional firefighter, which I have been for over a decade. I have a girlfriend and a great steph daughter of 3. My main hobbies are my sports, about 5 years ago I started skydving with some friens and quickly racked hundreds of jumps! That evolved into BASE jumping and paragliding as well. In wintertime I absolutely love snowboarding! I am a straight down the slopes kinda guy :) speed is my friend!

To broaden my horizon I will start school again in a few months, I will learn to become a professional furniture builder and designer and I hope to one day desing and sell my own furniture! I have been passionate about woodworking for a long time and a lot of the furniture in my own home I build myself.
A table that I have made
Lately I have become rather interested in the whole crypotocurrency world, I researched bitcoins a few years back and didn't think too much of it.. BOY WAS I WRONG! After getting a tip from a trusted friend I used some money I could miss and put in into Bitcoin and various altcoins. Now I am also daytrading and doing pretty well! I know the cryptocurrency will be way and way bigger in the future and I advise all my friends to invest in it.
So this is my introduction to Steemit! I would love to hear from you guys and I am going to to my best to put some great contend on here!
