Esala Perahera
Esala perahera is held in July every year. It is a cultural pageant. In the front flower bicycles come announcing the perahera is coming. Secondly whip crackers reach to get the space of the road. Then the drummers, flag bearers, tom tom beaters, beautifully decorated elephants and dancers come. It is a very attractive pageant and even the tourists come to visit this superb event.
