Bitcoin Cash Hard Fork Alert! (ABC)
Bitcoin Cash will hard fork on May 15th 2018 and Bitcoin ABC will be born. The question is what does ABC bring to the table and should you buy it?
The Volume Uprgrade: ABC is upgrading its blocksize to 32MB, this change is meant to implement 'paypal-like' transaction volume and is forecasted to handle instant verification time.
Operation Ethererum: ABC is updating the operating codes to enable basic Smart Contracts similar to Ethereum, opening up huge opportunities and potential for Crypto-development .
The Catch: Hard forks only bring more volatility to an already volatile market and a risky investment. 'Cash and grabs' are common with Forks and there's a high chance that Bitcoin ABC will be inflated, before suffering a huge correction that will take months to recover from. Some Hard Forks never recover and you have to decide whether you want to take that risk!
Will this kill Bitcoin Cash? The simple answer is no. In the short term BCH will dip, which by the way is a perfect time to buy! In the long-run BCH looks to be following in Bitcoins footsteps.
