Ethereum has enjoyed a long run as the second largest cryptocurrency by market cap.

Ethereum has faced challenges in it's Web 3.0 decentralized applications including large gas fees and scaling.  Network upgrades and upcoming upgrades and layers seek to fix these issues.

Many Ethereum killers have been proposed, but none has come close to breaking ETH.  Will Ethereum remain the second largest and most relevant cryptocurrency or will it be dethroned?  When will the Sun set on this asset and what will take it's place?
