No Hype, only Trust now.

When Hype turns into FOMO, FOMO may lead to Panic.

FOMO's driving force is fear, it's right there in the first letter of the acronym. By driving up Hype we raise the tension and exacerbate the potential effects of panic.

How do we counteract fear in our community?

Reach out. Be honest in your interactions. Build a personal connection on the basis of common interests -- even a lot of tiny, tenuous connections strengthen the overall web.

Confidence and trust in STEEM is not in building Hype -- it's in the knowledge of the system's capabilities and its communities.

Try to stay on top of what the witnesses are doing for STEEM with @witnesspage -- witnesses engage with the community on more than just a technical level.

Seek out and comment on articles by other STEEMians -- keep them motivated. Motivate other people and you will strengthen your own motivation.

It's OK to start small. Start with one of those things and grow, little by little.
