TOPIC: LEARN
I will be using this medium to talk about how learning the act of KINDNESS has helped me forge a positive path for myself in life.
Firstly I would like you all to know that kindness is the quality of being friendly, generous and considerate to my own understanding.

During my childhood, I was a kid from a not too wealthy home neither was it a poor home, but we were comfortable and I almost got everything I needed, couldn’t afford all I wanted. I started to grow up and I wasn’t the type that would give from the little I always had, so most of my friends tagged me a greedy person, Not to blame them they wouldn’t understand the place I was coming from, my mum and dad had to work tirelessly and effortlessly to get us to where we are in life without the help of an external body, all i learned while growing up was “contentment” even when I didn’t have I wouldn’t ask from a friend, so I felt whenever they asked for help or whatever, it wasn’t a mandatory thing to do. I also barely kept friends then because of the need to avoid such scenarios.

As time went on I started growing up and discovered that when you show an act of kindness, often times it’s mostly reciprocated and even when it isn’t you gain something in unexplainable ways. Which brings me to the quote “Givers never lack”. I thought it was all fun and jokes until I started to engage in those little act of kindness, that I started to see changes in my life spiritually and physically.

I used to attract friends that were just like me, selfish and entitled but as I started to develop myself and become more friendly and generous. I started attracting people of value and class, being kind can also be taken for granted most times but trust me when I say this, when you show kindness with love from your heart, regardless of the recipients response to it. Be it positive or negative. Note that there are also ways it would impact your life positively like it did mine.

  • When you show kindness it reverses stress and depression.
  • It also improves relationship with people you show kindness to.
  • Kindness is also good for the mind and heart, which makes you to have a warm heart.
  • Kindness also releases a feel-good hormone.
  • Lastly kindness is contagious, you can help impact others with you act of kindness.

Thank you for reading.. STAY BLESSED
