Another Day! Another Tears!!

It’s been a while since I last posted.
Life, in its quiet and chaotic ways, has kept me still — watching, feeling and writing.
Today, grief found its way to me again.
This one is written in the in-between space where I hold back tears and my words struggle to carry the weight of loss.
I share it here, not just as a poem, but as a moment — one that reminded me how fleeting Life is.......

I’ve been writing quietly
And witnessing the world
The sad laughter,
The happy tears.

Here’s one that feels like today:

I just got on my phone
to see pictures of a family friend online.
People say she died.
I called her sister to know what’s going on...
But I hear only cries on the other end
and then the call drops.

My heart shifts,
and breaks.

I've exhausted my sad-word phrases
used every single one on someone I already lost.
All I have left are my thoughts.
No words to carry me,
Just leftover pieces of emotion.

Ah!
I am sad.

A young life is gone.
And I’m reminded — once again —
of the thin line
between breathe and quiet,
life and death.
