The next update for ETH is underway ?
The Ethereum network's next upgrade, Constantinople, is going to go live just before Devcon4 ETH conference in October, after the implementation stage (until August 13th), and a two-month long testing stage.
Being the second part of a two-part upgrade series, Constantinople is going to add up to the network efficiency and reduce the transaction costs.
Among the four Ethereum improvement upgrades (EIPs), some have already reached the implementation stage, including EIP 210 (reorganizing the way of block hash storage), and EIP 145 (boosting the ETH virtual machine).
Two other updates are still on the stage of development: EIP 1014 (ETH state channels), and EIP 1052 (compression of the contract interaction procedure).
