Canadian First World Problems

One of the best feelings in the world...Waking up naturally. I rolled out of bed this morning feeling rejuvenated. I didn't know why but I thought maybe it was my late night pancake binge from the night before...

I was feeling good. Ready. Alive. I made my way to the kitchen considering what I'd eat for breakfast. A BLT maybe? Pancakes? Mmmm fluffy pancakes with some juicy blueberries covered with some maply syrup. Or perhaps just some eggs...

I decided on a nice healthy breakfast...a greasy BLT. I opened the fridge and grabbed the bacon from the top shelf, immediately noticing a sticky feeling. The package was coated in something..

Looking closer, I see a big dark puddle on the bottom of my fridge. Anddd on the side of my fridge. Annnd on the trays in my fridge. Maple syrup. Everywhere.

For those that don't know, maple syrup comes from the sap of maple trees and it's wonderfully sweet, though probably the stickiest thing ever. You can put it on pancakes, waffles, bread, ice cream, or you can drink it if you're into that.

So not the best start to the morning. I also happened to take an accidental wander into the women's bathroom this morning. It's not even 2pm yet so hopefully I can avoid further disaster.

I can't think of anything worse to spill in the fridge. What do you think?
