Progress Report

"Greetings! I am home from Wound Care.
I had an X-Ray done with 3 views of the Right Foot.
The Phalanx Bone will have to be removed.

Foot surgery #2 is in the works for next week.
Not sure if it will be outpatient or an overnight stay.

It is the right way to go and will totally clear up the wound and osteomyelitis that is in that bone.
Conventional IV Antibiotic Therapy will not clear the infection up.

There you have it folks. Fun, Fun, Fun. No, I am not in any pain just sore from the debridement of the wound bed.

I apologize for my "whining" about my foot and what I am going through with it when so many things are going on in the world.

As my friend Patty pointed out, I've been dealing with this issue a long time. Patty created the picture/text for me to give me hope. As my friend Jenifer commented stop over thinking and remember I can handle this. Which I can, I got this. Jen, knows me well enough to give advice as does Patty. Thanks Ladies for the positive thoughts and to all who care. I don't know where I would be without my friends who are always there especially Eileen, Desirée, Laura, Joan, Claudia, Phyllis, Jerry, Michael, and so many others for being supportive and giving me great advice.
