Fathers Day

Spiking anxiety shouted warning
Couldn't leave my house this morning
Hiding is habit forming
Danger is anything new

I stayed home from church today
Couldn’t bear to hear them when they say
Happy, happy Fathers Day
Whilst I sit alone in a pew
