Zapfic50 - “Pledge”

The two politicians stared in horror at the contract in the witch's hand. It stated that whichever one of them won the election would lose one body part for every campaign promise broken, no exceptions. The witch smiled threateningly, held out a pen and waited for them both to sign.

Now see that's the type of promise you can have faith in. But then again, maybe not. Some politicians are so addicted to lying they might just surrender their entire body piece by piece rather than deliver the things they promised on the campaign trail.
