Emotions and Thoughts

Some people can just show a poker face with no visible emotions. And then there is those people who is like an open book, their face expressions is very visible, but......only when no one see.

Many of us learned that boys don't cry and women is emotional creatures that express their feelings openly. Men should be strong, both physically and mentally. They should be there no matter what and lend a shoulder to the one in need, maybe to the emotional woman?

This is how I grew up. Sad but true. We get taught when we are small children that we don't cry in public, don't do this or that. Emotions should be kept on a neutral level. A baby get hushed at.

We are acting like robots outside. We get taught that we are showing other people respect by don't draining attention to ourselves.

We work a whole day, maybe get bullied at work, keeping your face at a professional level, come home, jump into the shower....and cry.

Men take out their frustration in other ways than women. We all want to fill that gap in ourselves that we can't show.
We don't want others to think we are weak. We don't want others to see who you truly are. We want to be loved and accepted, so we put on a mask, a role of someone that seem ok to act like.

The only one who knows who you really are is YOU.

But all of this blocking yourself, your emotions and thoughts out from society leads to one thing: depression.

That is another important topic.
