Free verse poems are unrestrained by traditional boundaries, and so can take truly unique shapes.
Due to this lack of predetermined structure, the poet has more license to express, and more control over, the development of the poem. This can lead to the creation of a more spontaneous and individualized poetic art product.

burning with love
my eyes touched yours
capture my thoughts
raise your hands
from the tower
sometimes super-sensitive
this place, this time
we ride into the night
don’t believe everything you hear
you are everything
let morning come
give it time
