Introducing myself

Hello everyone,
this is my very first post on Steemit and it took almost two weeks to me to find the courage to write something.

A friend of mine introduced me to Steemit after I took several personality tests for fun and they all ended up with the same results: I should work as an author. So she told me I should try Steemit to prove if the tests were right or not.

English is not my native language so I am likely making mistakes every here and there, but I hope you'll find my articles and posts interesting anyway, even with some little imperfection.

The second and main reason I am giving Steemit a go is that I am trying to shift from a 9-5 office job to freelance content writing. So I think that this could be a good way to practice with blogging.

I have done freelance SEO writing before, I've also started a blog years ago, but I didn't take it too seriously until I found myself miserable in a 'safe' job which forces me at a desk 9hours per day. So I am going to embrace the uncertainty of a freelance job which allows me freedom rather than the comfort of a desk-job.

I'd love to hear your opinion about this! Are you a freelancer or an employee?

Here's some extra information about myself: I am a 34 y.o Italian woman, living in Milan from 15yrs, with an incurable wanderlust and love for different cultures, languages, traditions and food :)
