How did she get up there?!

So Shaniqua has a bit of a history of cat torture. Otherwise she wouldn't say boo to a goose. She likes to play with them. I don,t think she means any harm, but often it doesn't seem that way for the cat! .

Just at the end of the walk there is a derelict shoe factory and opposite a pretty house with a garden and a cat.
Shaniqua spotted the cat who luckily saw her and made a mad dash through the broken window of the shoe factory, swiftly followed by the rather ungainly shaniqua.
I called and called her, but nothing . I could just hear paws padding around the place and then took a step back and realised she was running around on the roof. Luckily she seemed quite unfazed by how high she was , but I was worried she might fall through as she is very heavy. So after about 5 minutes of calling her I had to climb in through a broken window and tread very carefully on rotten floor boards to see how she got up there and get her down. Luckily it was not too difficult and all well worth it for the picture. Looks like the cat got safely away too thank goodness.

After all the morning Shaniqua shenanigans I had a very civilised evening at the house of the guy who sold me my house . He is a Parisian art dealer and has an impressive barn that is a great venue for parties. He does a boaf et carrots evening once a month and there is a lovely jazz band and very smokey fire and delicious food and flowing wine.

Look out for the giant nipple above the table!!
