Money is like a sharp knife, in the hands of a skilled chief, a sharp knife is a useful tool. But the same knife in the hands of someone inexperienced or inattentive can cause serious harm. If you handle it skillfully it will be useful tool. But when you're not careful with it, you could get yourself hurt with it.

I know you want to be with friends, having fun. Nobody wants to say, sorry, I can't afford to go.
Rather then fret about the money you don't have, why not learn to manage the money that does pass through your hands?
