It Was Valentine
It was Valentine's Day, after a sweet date with Mia, I left the restaurant with a warm glow in my heart. We had shared laughter, gentle conversations, and a tender goodbye that made the night feel unforgettable. As I walked to the bus stop, the cool night air reminded me of our promises to see each other again.
I boarded the last bus home, still smiling from the evening. But when I stepped inside, I noticed I was the only passenger. The bus was almost empty, and the driver sat silently in the front, his eyes fixed on the road.
At first, I thought maybe everyone else had gone home early. Yet, as the bus started moving, I realized it was taking a different route than usual. The familiar streets were replaced by quiet, dark roads that I had never seen before. A strange feeling crept over me, mixing with the happy memories of the date.
The engine hummed softly and the bus’s wheels made a steady sound on the pavement. Soon, I began to hear soft whispers and distant sounds that seemed to come from nowhere. I looked around, trying to understand what was happening, but there was no one else to explain the odd noises. After a while, the bus slowed to a to at an unfamiliar corner. The driver gave me a slight nod, and without a word, I stepped off into the chilly night. Standing alone on a quiet street, I felt both uneasy and curious. The night that had started with a lovely date was now filled with mystery, and I couldn’t help but wondered my fate.
