Whale bot that votes randomly.
I think a whale bot that voted randomly on posts or comments with reputation over 40 would be great. I would delegate steem power to it
- encourages more posting
- fights the purchased vote trend
- would be like a lotto so people would be excited if they won
- could allow people to delegate steem power they aren’t using but not participate in vote buying
The reputation should be above 40 or some other level to exclude the most obvious Sybil attacks but the bar would be low e Pugh so they everyone who post would eventually win.

There are/were already gentlebot and thing-2.
I have not much grudge against them since I was upvoted by both in the past.
9rumpyc@t's and ch3ckth!50ut's spam comments got upvoted more often by at least one of them.

fights the purchased vote trend the way gentlebot and thing-2 still did not prevent me from realizing that a better modus operandi is to get my comments upvoted in a certain way.
would be like a lotto so people would be excited if they won - lotteries are usually a waste of resources, and this will be too especially if it will skip bot upvoted comments like gentlebot and thing-2 probably do.
could allow people to delegate steem power they aren’t using but not participate in vote buying - and steem power delegations are usually wrong. This will not be an exception since certain delegations provide income to the owners of the delegated stakes.

Pretty rude to comment and not vote. If you took the time to comment it was obviously a value added addition to the platform.
I am saving my VP for worse offenses than rudeness.
No one else does what I do, and everyone either ignores my calls for help or gives me an upvote instead of join me in downvotes.
I also had an accidental self vote today.

I took the time to comment, and did not like your idea at all.
I commented not because your thread had or could add value, but because your idea will reduce the value even below what it is now if it will be adhered to.
There are posts which I liked and did not upvote them either.
I skip voting most of my threads and comments in the recent month, because I can not allow it and there are bidbots for upvotes.
My little power served better at downvotes.

If you care about upvotes, profits and reputation as much I do, learn how to use the bots.
I already made a thread about which bots to use and other threads about good and bad signs to look for in a bidbot.
It is both an art and a science.
I prefer to be rude than to upvote a bad suggestion and I prefer to be rude than to waste a resource which I save mainly for downvotes.
The warped thought that led you to believe that your suggestion ads value is beyond me, and your suggestion's idea itself was debunked in my rude comment.
