I’ve spent the last 24 hours in a complete state of "total disaster" mode. I was panicking, filming "I’m stuck" videos, and basically preparing to live the rest of my life in Bali because I was convinced my passport was gone forever.

It wasn't gone. It was in my bag the whole time.

I have no idea how I missed it. I emptied this bag. I shook it. I checked every single zip three times over. Then, in the middle of a mental breakdown, I reached into a side pocket I’d already checked, and there it was—staring back at me like I’m the world’s biggest idiot.

I left the UK for good to become a digital nomad expat, searching for a life away from a tyrannical government and a country where everyone feels depressed and repressed.
