The 1st Mandaue-Mactan Bridge

Good day Steemians! Here is my entry to @juliank's daily photo contests.

Saturday is #smartphonephotography day. For this day's theme, @juliank is looking for photos depicting "bridges".

This is the 1st Mandaue-Mactan Bridge. It links the city of Mandaue and the island city of Lapu-lapu crossing the Mactan Channel. It was constructed in 1970 and opened two years after. It brought a significant effect in the business and trade for two connecting cities.
