Quick Update for My Followers - Part 2
Hello friends.
As mentioned [previously](https://peakd.com/life/@enternamehere/quick-update-for-my-human-followers) I was injured last week, on April Fool's Day, of all days. The Universe has a great sense of humor, don't it?
I have now been seen by an orthopedic specialist and - 🙂 - so far so good. The x-rays look normal and I have been allowed to return to work on light duty. I have many weeks of recovery ahead of me, and potentially even physical therapy.
This situation has been sort of nerve racking since it's my first time to have a semi serious injury. For now though, I'm focused on staying patient while my body and I heal.
I plan to post new art later this week. Thanks everyone for your real and valuable content. It surely makes a difference!

Glad things are going good so far :) Just remember not to push too hard while you're recovering, there's a tiny point you can push to help with recovery but anything beyond that will more likely make it take longer ;D

Agreed. Right now it's easy not to push myself, being in a sling. But your advice will be super important once it comes off! Going to take it one day at a time and listen to my body, no rushing. Thank you!

Sorry, its Easter, the sun is up and I am enjoying a wonderful day, I was forced to make a joke. Honestly, Your compliment meant so much. I found it very lovely and special, as I think it a very good aspect of art and craft to be personal. For me to get a hint of the person behind the writing (or drawing or dancing or or or) distinguishes between ‚nice‘ art and really involving art.
So, again, thank you and happy Easter (or if you do not celebrate a lovely and sunny weekend)
