True Friend

I remember this poem from my childhood...which is perhaps 30+ years ago :)

True Friendship is a precious gift that's wonderful and rare
It's nice to know that someone understands and takes the time to care
A friend will always listen to your voice, hopes and fears
For friends can share the good and bad, the laughter and the tears
And as the days and years goes by
A true friend will always be a part of all the precious memories you treasure in your heart.!
