¡Hola comunidad!

Hoy estoy contenta porque pude hacer algo creativo, elaboré unos portataza me parece que el material es muy bueno para ello, estoy usando foami moldeable y una vez que seque quedará excelente soportando el calorcito de nuestra taza de cafe. Si no lo quieres como posataza o portataza puedes usarlo como elemento decorativo para pared o mesa, la verdad es fácil de hacer y muy bonito, con estos tipos de manualidades podemos integrar a los niños en el hogar o también es excelente para proyectos estudiantiles, proyectos creativos en el aula.

Hice dos modelos, unas flores y una lady bug, es fácil de hacer, espero les guste.

Hello, everyone!

I’m feeling happy today because I managed to do something creative – I’ve made some cup holders. I think the material is perfect for this; I’m using mouldable foam, and once it’s dry, it’ll be great at withstanding the warmth of our coffee cups. If you don’t want to use it as a cup holder, you can use it as a decorative item for the wall or table. It’s actually easy to make and looks lovely. With crafts like this, we can get the children involved at home, and it’s also brilliant for school projects or creative activities in the classroom.

I made two designs: some flowers and a ladybird. They’re easy to make – I hope you like them.

Moldeo una pelotita de foami color rojo, aplano con una tapa (puedes usar rodillo, aunque tengo uno se me hace más cómodo usar la tapa)

Moldeo una pelotita de foami color negro, aplano con la tapa y la coloco sobre el cuerpo de la ladybug desde el centro hacia afuera, corto el excedente.

Con la herramienta para moldear hago un surco en el centro.

I shape a small ball of red foam, flatten it with a lid (you can use a rolling pin, although I have one, I find it easier to use the lid)

I shape a small ball of black foam, flatten it with the lid and place it on the ladybird’s body, working from the centre outwards, then trim off the excess.

Using the shaping tool, I make a groove in the centre.

Realizo pequeñas bolitas y las aplano sobre el cuerpo de la ladybug.

Moldeo dos bolitas de foami color blanco para los ojos y aplico el procedimiento anterior. Luego coloco unos puntitos de foami moldeable para las pupilas.

Con ayuda de la herramienta para moldear hago la boquita y maquillo con pintura acrílica.

Tenemos listo nuestro primer posataza.

I make small balls and flatten them onto the ladybird’s body.

I shape two small balls of white foam for the eyes and follow the same procedure as before. Then I add a few tiny dots of mouldable foam for the pupils.

Using the modelling tool, I shape the little mouth and add some detail with acrylic paint.

Our first cup coaster is ready.

Repito el paso 1, moldeo una bolita de foami color rojo y aplano con la tapa.

Moldeo una bolita de foami color blanco y con el molde de galleta en forma de flor, corto la forma, pego la forma sobre el foami color rojo y sobre la flor moldeo una pelotita y aplano en el centro para formar el centro de la flor.

Moldeo una pelotita de foami color verte y aplano, con el molde en forma de hoja, corto la hoja y presiono un poco para que se marquen las líneas de las hojitas. Necesitamos dos piezas.

Estas dos piezas de hoja las pego sobre el foami rojo pero solo las puntas, el centro le doy una forma de curva.

I repeat step 1: I shape a small ball of red foam and flatten it with the lid.

I shape a small ball of white foam and, using the flower-shaped biscuit cutter, cut out the shape; I stick the shape onto the red foam and, on top of the flower, I shape a small ball and flatten it in the centre to form the centre of the flower.

I shape a small green foam ball and flatten it; using the leaf-shaped cutter, I cut out the leaf and press down slightly to mark the veins. We need two pieces.

I stick these two leaf pieces onto the red foam, but only the tips; I curve the centre slightly.

Me pongo guantes por mis reacciones alérgicas, de verdad tengo las manos y deditos muy adoloridos y destruiditos.

Continuando con la elaboración... Moldeo la forma de una hoja y corto con el molde de galletas en forma de flor, al mismo le coloco un círculo de foami color blanco en el centro y luego lo pego en medio de las hojas.

I put on gloves because of my allergic reactions; my hands and fingers are really very sore and in a right state.

Moving on with the crafting… I shape the dough into a leaf and cut it out using the flower-shaped biscuit cutter; I place a circle of white foam in the centre of it and then stick it in the middle of the leaves.
