Quise participar más temprano, pero cuando revisaba las canciones que se me ocurrió las hice recientemente, hasta que hoy me puse con más empeño y esta canción creo que va perfecto con la tematica.

I wanted to participate earlier, but when I looked through the songs I'd come up with, I realized I'd written them recently. It wasn't until today that I really put my mind to it, and I think this song fits the theme perfectly.

Hola gente linda de la comunidad de HIVE OPEN MIC por acá @eudarcabello y esta vez para participar en la semana 331 que se titula Clarity. No quise dejar este post para último momento, siempre haciendo el maximo esfuerzo para mantenerme posteando a tiempo en la semana, esta vez lo intente capaz más que nunca, igual paso, espero mantenerme puntual de ahora en más, de verdad. Lo loco es que terminé las evaluaciones del postgrado, esto me llevaba loco de verdad, a pesar de ya estar fuera de el por reprobar una de sus materias, tambien con el trabajo de grado, sigo medio perezoso, igual es un proyecto del trabajo actual. Así que aunque ya este fuera del postgrado de Biología Marina, aún su sombra me persigue, esperemos pronto acabe y ver si aparece otra oportunidad para otro postgrado. La canción seleccionada es otra Disney, su letra es corta, la verdad nunca me dedique a aprendermela del todo, pero es ahora cuando leí y me di cuenta que no era tan complicada, sirve de banda sonora para la película del Rey León y titula "El ciclo sin fin". No quise seguir pensando a ver si se me ocurria otra canción, conforme de como resulto mi elección para esta temática, sin dudas necesitaba hacerla, llenarme de buena vibra para la nueva semana, así que me pareció oportuno.

Hi everyone in the HIVE OPEN MIC community It’s @eudarcabello here, and this time I’m participating in Week 331, titled Clarity. I didn’t want to leave this post until the last minute—I always do my best to post on time each week, and this time I tried harder than ever, but it still happened. I hope to stay on schedule from now on, for real. The crazy thing is that I finally finished my grad school exams—they were really driving me nuts—even though I’m already out of the program because I failed one of the courses. As for my thesis, I’m still being a bit lazy, but it’s actually a project for my current job. So even though I’m no longer in the Marine Biology grad program, its shadow still haunts me. Let’s hope it’s over soon so I can see if another opportunity for grad school comes up. The song I chose is another Disney song; the lyrics are short. To be honest, I never really took the time to learn them all the way through, but it wasn’t until now, when I read them, that I realized they weren’t that complicated. It’s part of the soundtrack for The Lion King and is titled “The Circle of Life.” I didn’t want to keep racking my brain to see if another song would come to mind; I’m happy with how my choice turned out for this theme. I definitely needed to do this—to fill myself with good vibes for the new week—so it seemed like the right thing to do.

Ya tengo la respuesta y si ahora seré profesor de una materia parecida a la que me reprobaron, la otra materia que me toca dar tampoco es mi fuerte, pero seguro lo haré genial. Habrá otra materia que les daré más adelante, este grupo es el avanzado, solo recuerdo que para el postgrado el aprobado es tipo promedio de cumlaude y desde el principio estuve muy cerca, de haberme ido por esa área en el pregrado, seguro si fuera aprobado, igual siento que aprendí mucho y ahora toca demostrarlo.

I already have the answer, and even though I’ll now be teaching a course similar to the one I failed, the other course I’ll be teaching isn’t exactly my strong suit either—but I’m sure I’ll do great. There will be another subject I’ll teach them later on; this is the advanced class. I just remember that for graduate school, the passing grade is basically a cum laude average, and from the very beginning I was very close to that. If I’d gone into that field as an undergrad, I’m sure I would have passed. Still, I feel like I learned a lot, and now it’s time to prove it.

Como medio explique en el post pasado, le daré clases a compañeros del trabajo y ya uno de ellos al enterarse dijo que más vale que sepa del tema o chocaremos, es de esos que se la tiran que saben mucho, pero no termina de demostrarlo, solo deseenme exitos. 

As I mentioned in my last post, I’ll be teaching some of my coworkers, and one of them, upon hearing about it, said I’d better know what I’m talking about or we’ll clash. He’s one of those people who acts like he knows a lot but never quite proves it—just wish me luck.

Intento dejar que todas las cosas en mi vida fluyan, capaz puede que intente forzar un poco todo, como con el postgrado de Biología Marina o el intentar ser constante en Hive, pero lo que termine resultando, sé que sabré aceptarlo. I try to let all the things in my life flow, I might try to force everything a little bit, like with the Marine Biology postgraduate course or trying to be constant in Hive, but whatever ends up turning out, I know I will know how to accept it.
