Description:

PROPER function in Excel or Google Sheets capitalizes the first letter in each word of a text value.

In my head, this is like when we write proper nouns, such as name of a person, city, events, etc.

Which is why this function is named PROPER.

Function Structure:

=PROPER ( text )

Argument Breakdown:

text - The text you need to convert to Proper case.
