Changing the network name on a Windows 10 computer
- Click the 4 square Window icon in the lower left corner and type run
- Select the Run Desktop app
- Next to the word Open type secpol.msc and hit Enter
- In the Local Security Policy window, select Network List Manager Policies
- To the right in the under Network Name, right click Properties
- In the Network Properties box, under Name, tick the radio button next to Name and input the network name you want
