Five Minute Freewrite: not what it seems

Most often what we know and think we know are not what it seems. Daniel loves to prove everyone wrong and it could be so annoying that everyone wonders if he derives joy from it. Because of this known behavior of his, his number of friends started decreasing.

One day, a question was asked in class and everyone waited for Daniel to answer as usual but like before, another student had also raised his hands to answer the question asked. After Daniel had answered, the teacher allowed the other student to also state his answer. The teacher waited for a brief moment before confirming that the other student was correct while Daniel was wrong.

This took the whole class by surprise including Daniel, so the teacher had to explain that Daniel's response was the previous answer before it was updated by the new answer. This made Daniel understand that knowledge is dynamic and constantly changing and no man is an island as such we all need to be updated. Daniel being corrected by another student who barely knows half of what he knows changes his perception. Daniel became a new person from that day and ceased to always correct other rudely.
