Facilities Projects in the Works

I am currently working on a couple of projects for the building I manage. One of them is swapping out one of our water fountains with another that has a water bottle filler. In this way, our more health conscious occupants can refill their water bottles with refrigerated water. This is something that has been requested for some time. But, due to budget constraints, we have not implemented. I am coordinating the purchase of the water fountain with bottle filler. Once we have that, we will need to have the old one removed and the new one installed.

The other project is to install bulletin boards and whiteboards. The idea is to create a sense of community. In particular, we want to offer our occupants the option to post notices or other announcements. The bulletin boards will go above the water fountains and above the copiers. The whiteboards will be installed within our four conference rooms.

I have other projects in the works, such as the repair of one of our rooftop air conditioning units. But, that's still in the works. We are expecting the OEM blower motors to arrive on Monday. We are on hold until there.
